GRINDER
Erodex are seeking a Surface/Form Grinder to be based at their state-of-the-art machining facility in Darlaston.
We are a globally recognised machining organisation, who manufacture high precision EDM components for the aerospace industry. Due to being in growth mode, an opportunity has arisen for a Surface/Form Grinder to join the ever-expanding engineering team.
Having been established for over 40 years we currently employ 100 staff and remain a family owned business.
You will be working within a high-pressure machining environment, meeting deadlines and using your initiative to overcome problems, resolving production issues. Under certain circumstances overtime and extra hours may be required to complete the task at hand and keep production flowing.
The key responsibilities include working with Jones & Shipman 540 1400 540X &1400X series surface grinders.
Experience on Jones & Shipman Format5 CNC surface grinders would be an advantage.
Applicants must be capable of reading engineering drawings, able to work on own initiative, and work as part of a team.
This is a permanent, 40-hour, full-time position. Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 18:00.
